~5 Months Old~

~Ali is 5 Months Old~

Our little sweetie is 5 months old! It's crazy I still try to put her in 3 month clothes and I'm still shocked when she doesn't fit  in most of them.

01. She finally rolled from her tummy to her back but has still not gone from her back to her tummy. I keep thinking she will do it but never gets quite over.
02. She has become a binkie baby!
03. She has stopped sleeping through the night.
04. We tried cereal (Barley) for the first time last night. She wasn't a huge fan of the spoon or bottle for that matter. She is a breast baby!
05. If we lay her on the floor she will wiggle and kick, which makes her move all over the floor!
06. She has found her feet and loves holding on to them.
07.Everything goes right to her mouth if it is put in her hands
08. She still doesn't have much hair
09. She loves her blanket right by her face.
10. When she gets a big smile her hand automatically go to her mouth.
11. When she smiles at people its almost like a shy smile. She smiles and turns her face .
12. She is a happy baby.
13. Still loves a lot of attention
14. Went to the state fair for the first time
15.Wears 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers.
16. I have started calling her Thumper because she is always kicking her legs. She does it in the middle of the night also! (She is going to have one strong tummy if she keeps this up)
17. She has mostly blue eyes still but there is a little grey in them. I think she is going to have hazel eyes like the rest of us.
18. She loves playing with her big sister.
19. Likes to pull hair!
20. She is a mamma's girl but boy she loves watching her daddy! I love watching him with both girls!

~Frozen Yogurt/Bumbo~ 3 New posts

Today we had a busy day! We started by going out to Grammi's and Poppy's to pick up their mail (They are living in St. George right now) Janica and Anela rode out with us. We then went to IKEA for awhile. I really do love that store I hate that it is so far away. After I dropped Janica and Anela off and met up with Danielle, Kaydence, and Kamden. We went to Frogurt (frozen yogurt). It was so yummy and nice to hang out and talk. We let the kids run around outside for a minute and found a new favorite spot to hang out. I then went and saw Gerry and Ariana (Janica's Kids) and Dominick (Danielle's oldest) Play soccer. Gerry and Dominick are on the same team. It was an all around good day! Love my friends and their babies so much!

Ali has found her feet. Kimberly likes laying on the floor with Ali and showing her things or do what she is doing.

My good friend Brandy gave us her old Bumbo and Ali loves it!!

~State Fair~

 ::9/14/12::
The state fair is a pretty big thing for our little family. We love going every year and we usually try to go the second Friday. (They have a great steak sandwich that night) We left for the fair around 11 am and didn't get home until around midnight. Grandma Patti, Pa (Trip), and Nick joined us for a few hours. It was a fun day and we can't wait for next year.

They let us touch the Lemurs, but Kimberly didn't want to!
Kimberly enjoyed a hot dog. We like to go for the entire day so we can try all kinds of good food!!!

The baby cow that was born just that morning!

She didn't want to touch the cow either
 But Nick did!
Grandma gave the kids some money to buy a toy from the fair! Ali was so excited!
The baby piggies! This picture was for Aunt Natalie! Kimberly was being her usually self and didn't sit still long enough for a picture!

.......And this little piggie jumped over to the other side!!! Momma pig wasn't happy but the baby did eventually jump back through the fence to her momma.
We kept trying to get a picture of Kimberly with the pigs so we were standing there saying "say cheese!" She looked at us with this annoyed face and clenched her teeth together and said "cheese".  She isn't always a fan of pictures!
Nick helped this weird guy make cool bubbles.
They had a little science room this year and it was Kimberly's favorite and gave me a chance to feed Ali! Kimberly sat and built with blocks forever!

 "TADA"
 Happy and fed!
Playing with daddy, while Kimberly built!

 Steak dinner
 Ali's a farmer!
Kind of blurry but its Trip, Nick, Jeremy, and Kimberly on the big slide
Kimberly and Nick are good farm workers @ Little hands on the farm
At the end of the night our little family was sitting there enjoying our last fried food and I asked Kimberly "Did you have fun at the fair?" Kimberly- "Yeah" Me-"Want to come back next year?" Kimberly-"No! I'll just stay here!" ha ha Guess she loves it as much as her mommy and daddy do!

~Trampoline~

I found these today! They were on the camera that I don't use much anymore so I had forgotten about them. We went over to Danielle's to hang out before I had a meeting with the Bishop (She was going to watch the girls). While there Kimberly went and jumped on the trampoline with Kaydence. She was a a little hesitant at first but after a few minutes got into and didn't want to get off.
And a cute picture of the babies!!!!

These two really have fun together! (As long as they are both in a good mood! ha ha)

~St. George/50th Party~

Kimberly, Ali, and I headed down to St. George the day after my dad turned 50!! He was gone hunting but we were planning a surprise party for him, when he returned. My mom flew up and drove back down with us. It was nice to have her company on the drive and it gave us some uninterrupted time to plan some of the party. We had a pretty good drive with the girls. Kimberly did have an accident and Ali had a little breakdown but overall a good drive. We had a pretty busy week to get things done before my dad got home. One of the days Brandy came over for a minute and we got to play with baby Jayleigh. She is so cute and I hope Ali and her are good friends.
My mom took me to Tuachan to see Aladdin. I was so glad I got the opportunity to go. If you haven't been to a show out there it is a must! (Thanks to Keesha for watching my girls so I could enjoy the show)

The big party!!! I can't believe we did it but we did end up surprising my dad for his 50th birthday. His actual birthday is Sept 5 but he was hunting so we planned the party for that Saturday Sept. 8th. My mom took him shopping and then got him a massage. So we had about 2 hours to get everything set up. We had a pretty good turn out with people and for the most part all the decorations we wanted to do. It was a very hot time of day so we were all sweating setting up the party And my shotgun shell lights started falling apart. I'm just glad he was surprised and I think he had a pretty good night.
